Randee Fox

Nia Black Belt Teacher
Sammamish, Washington, United States

Being a Nia Educator has positively influenced all of the areas of my life that I love to share with people – dance, music, the visual arts, creating positive communities and the immense joys and benefits of being with horses. I am passionate about sharing the creative magic of Nia through the wide variety of programs I teach, designed with the intention to allow you to tap into your uniqueness, your creativity, your power and your truth for living a healthy, balanced and harmonic life - in a fun, meaningful and joyful way.

About Randee Fox:

“Whether I am teaching Nia, teaching people about horses, or making art, I approach each as an expressive art form that can be life-force giving. Inspiring others to realize their joy of self-expression through movement, horses and art is, perhaps, one of the greatest accomplishments I will make as an artist and as a human being in my lifetime.”

—Randee Fox

Randee Fox, Nia Black Belt Educator has been teaching Nia since 2004 and practicing since 2000. She teaches a variety of Nia programs for those interested teaching Nia or deepening their Nia practice and, as well their relationship with their body and life. These programs include Classic Nia, Nia FreeDance, Nia Moving To Heal, Nia Five Stages, Nia 52 Moves.

Randee is also an award-winning painter, illustrator, designer, arts educator, journalist and an equestrian educator and has owned and operated her own ‘horse-human-ship’ school 'Educating Humans for Horses' since 1997. View her ressume here.

Randee developed Nia and HorsesNia on the ground with horses for those who wish to ‘dance’ with a horse, and Nia in the saddle for equestrians. Randee trains her three horses using Nia principles, creating a fun, motivating, pleasureable atmosphere for learning and connecting with people.

Background:

After 22 years of studying a variety of dance forms, Randee took her first Nia class in 2000 then became a teacher in 2004.

Randee teaches Nia, art and horse-related programs at Blue Heron Ranch Moving Arts and Equestran - in Sammamish, WA (since 2004) and at Bellevue Family YMCA in Bellevue, WA (since 2007) and Sammamish Family YMCA (since 2016). Her edgy, wild, fun, creative, and high energy classes and special PlayShops encourage ‘community and unity’ and because of this intent, her Nia communities are warm and welcoming to all. Her Nia programs are rich with creativity, artistry and inspiration and most often taught at the beautiful Blue Heron Ranch Moving Arts and Equestrian arts and dance studio on her horse ranch.

NOTE: Randee officially stepped out of her Nia Faculty Trainer role in 2017 to focus on raising her niece who came to live with her and her spouse. She continues to offer her Nia classes and special PlayShops and, as well, produces Nia Faculty members' Trainings at Blue Heron Ranch, Moving Arts and Equestrian.  If you would like to take your Nia White Belt Training, please choose to learn with any of our wonderful Nia Faculty members listed here. If you have any questions for Randee, please feel free to reach out to her via email or phone - 206-427-7010. You can learn more about Randee Fox here.
