Nia 52 Moves Training is a 2-day somatic experience devoted to learning how to achieve holistic conditioning using Nia 52 Moves, which results in the ability to teach 2 levels of the Nia Move I.T. class – beginner (learning the moves) and advanced (knowing the moves). The course combines lecture with experiential practice focusing on various movement techniques and coaching sessions to give each participant personalized support to achieve their fitness goals.

Applied learning is honed during Move I.T. 60-minute workouts where you practice conscious personal training to take your fitness to the next level. Move I.T. workouts take cardio-dance to a new edge of holistic conditioning based on the science of interval training using high-energy and motivating music.

Throughout the training you will get to test your skill and knowledge on the mat under the expert guidance of your trainer coaches. On the mat refers translating cognitive information through the body.

Nia 52 Moves

Originating from diverse modalities spanning dance, martial arts and therapeutic practices, Nia 52 Moves represent the movement language of the Nia workout and practice. They have been distilled through 30 years of somatic movement exploration to create optimal body-mind-emotion-spirit conditioning. Practiced in isolation and integrated through dance movement, Nia 52 Moves enhance perceptual motor skills integrating flexibility, mobility, agility, stability and strength.

Learn to Teach Move I.T. Classes

If you have a Nia White Belt, you can take the Move I.T. Teacher Training after completing Nia 52 Moves.

The Move I.T. Teacher Training is designed to complete in 12-weeks. After you register for the training, you will receive additional training materials and a detailed learning guide and syllabus. Learn more about the training here

Kevin VerEecke

Nia Black Belt Teacher

Kevin began teaching Nia in 2001 after 15 years of dance training and performing. Currently a Nia Black Belt, 52 Moves Trainer and choreographer for Nia HQ, Kevin co-created the 52 Moves Training with Debbie Rosas. Kevin's Nia classes are noted for their musicality, vigor, and humor.
