The Maitripa Centre is nestled against the Toolangi State Forest, just outside Healesville. It is predeominantly a Buddhist Retreat, welcoming groups from all walks of life. The facilites are delightfully basic and comfortable, with a variety of single and shared accomodation. All bedding is supplied. Nia Valley Bush Retreat provides an opportunity to slow down. Taking time to notice sensations in your body and learn simple self healing tools to take home. There will be  time for play, bush walks and rest. Julie and Jacinta are certified Nia Brown Belt Practitioners with many years experience in the healing arts. They bring a wealth of knowledge and fun to their Nia Practice. This retreat is open to anyone wanting some time out and to explore their movement potential. Prior Nia experience is not required.

All accomodation has shared bathroom facilities. Rooms are heated and have all linen and bedding supplied. The rooms have been recently refurbished with new beds. They are basic, simple and comfortable. Double Suites are available for a weekend pass only. They have a double bed and can be booked by singles or couples. The two Double Suites share a fully renovated bathroom with bath. A 10% discount will be offered for couples or two people sharing a Double Suite.
