Nia er en fusjon av teknikker fra dans, helbredende kunst og kampkunst.
Det passer til mennesker i alle aldre, form, størrelse, fysisk form og helse-status.
Nia er en aerobikk øvelse uten berøring. Den er et flott redskap for å brenne kalorier, men også snill mot dine ledd og rygg. Øvelsene gjøres stort sett barføtt.
Nia har en balanse mellom trening og det å lytte til din egen kropp. På slutten av hver time vil du ikke bare føle at du har hatt en god treningsøkt, du vil også føle deg forynget.

What is Nia?
Nia is a sensory-based movement practice that draws from martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. It empowers people of all shapes and sizes by connecting the body, mind, emotions and spirit. How does Nia work?
Nia draws from Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, jazz dance, modern dance, Duncan dance, yoga, Alexander Technique and Teachings of Moshe Feldenkrais. Every class offers a unique combination of 52 moves that correspond with the main areas of the body: the base, the core and the upper extremities. Stiff beginners and highly fit athletes alike can adapt Nia to meet their needs by choosing from three intensity levels.
