Includes Nia workshops, classes, Moving / Living Meditation, 2 nights shared accommodation, 2 breakfasts and 2 evening meals

The retreat starts at 4pm on Friday the 10th April 2015 and finishes at 3pm on Sunday 12th April. Pohara - the location for the retreat is approximately 2 hours drive from Nelson and we are helping to organise car pools. If you are coming to Nelson for the retreat I recommend you be here by 1pm to allow for cross over and 2 hours driving to be in Pohara by 4pm.  Returning after 3pm on Sunday should see you back in Nelson by 5pm at the latest. Please plan your journey around these times if you require transport to and from Nelson. 

Once you contact us about the retreat we will email you a booking form with further information, your evening meal selections and whether you require a place in the car pool. 

The Sans Souci Inn has limited spaces with other accommodation options nearby. I suggest if you would like to ensure your space at Sans Souci early booking is essential. The restaurant at Sans Souci is ours solely for the weekend of the reatreat. 

PLEASE NOTE - SANS SOUCI IS NOW FULLY BOOKED FOR THE RETREAT - OTHER ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE (5 MINUTES) ARE AVAILABLE AS AT 1ST MARCH - PLEASE CONTACT US FOR MORE INFORMATION.

Thrilled that the White Belt, the firt level of Nia Training is being offered here in Nelson!. April 3-9th 2015 with Ken Gilbert at Studio Evolve.

The Nia White Belt Training is the first level of a five-belt training series that presents a body-centered approach to health, wellness and fitness. If you have a desire to share Nia in a professional capacity, the White Belt Training is your entryway into teaching. Those who choose to pursue the path of personal enrichment use this training as a starting point for becoming a master student.

Over the course of one week, you will comprehensively explore physical sensation through five core-competency areas of study including movement, music, anatomy, science and philosophy. This joyful journey into the self is instrumental in helping you develop body knowing by learning to listen, interpret and consciously respond to the information your body communicates to you via sensation.
