The 52 Moves are the basic building blocks of all Nia routines. Drawing from the disciplines of the martial arts, dance arts and healing arts, the Nia 52 Moves correspond to the main areas of the body: the base, core and upper extremities. From steps, kicks, blocks, to shimmies, cha-cha-chas and hip bumps, these moves condition the entire body, freeing you to be expressive and creative. This is an ideal "mini-workshop" setting for beginners and veteran movers to strengthen their language, knowledge and practice then experience a sampling of the 52 Moves interval workout - one move - one minute at a time.
