Notes About This Class

What is Moving to Heal?
Moving to Heal is a 60-minutes non-impact workout class which uses Nia 52 moves. The class is emphasized on healing, it is also for those who are experiencing cancer, Parkinson's Disease, trauma recovery or healing post-injury.

What is Nia? (
Nia workouts combine 52 simple moves with dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts to get you fit in 60 minutes - body, mind, emotion, and spirit. It is non-impact, practiced barefoot, and the intensity levels are adjustable.

Fee: Free

Forms: You will receive intake form and participation waiver. Please fill them in and submit them to me before the class or next time otherwise.

Outfit: Please wear something comfortable. Nia (Moving to Heal) is done barefoot. In case there are reasons not to move barefoot, you can wear soft shoes instead.

Floorplay: We will be moving on the floor at the end of the class.

Weather Conditions: The weather will be monitored. If it is raining or rains 2 hours prior to the class, the class will be cancelled.
