Notes About This Class

Lunchtime Nia with Susan - this is a shorter class of 50 mins  to allow students to fit it into a 1 hour lunchbreak, this class is especially suitable for beginners to Nia and has an extra emphasis on mindful movement.

Please arrive as soon after 1pm as you can, especially if you are new.  The actual class starts at 1.10 and will finishe around 2pm, however there is an opportunity for a little wind down and chat afterwards until around 2.20, so please factor some extra time into your parking ticket!

The class will leave you feeling energised, yet relaxed - ready for whatever the afternoon may bring.

Nia has been described as "sneaky fitness". Just about every part of your body will get a kind-to-the-body workout, almost without you realising it. Move to inspiring music from around the world at a level that suits Your Body. Nia is non-competetive and it's fun! You don't need special clothes or any special equipment - you don't even need shoes! Just wear something comfortable that allows you to move and bring some water. Why not join us? What have you got to lose?

This is what people are saying about Nia classes:

"I love Nia because it's so uplifting. After the class I always feel mantally and physically energised."

"I'm so un-coodinated. I've never been able to dance or do sports, but I LOVE Nia!"

"I was very stiff and conscious of protecting my back and hip after an accident. I am so pleased that I can now attempt the more energetic moves and each week my aches and pains have disappeared. I can climb stairs and nearly reach my toes with ease. A bonus is losing a few pounds. I really feel good about myself."

Visiting the Yoga tree is a treat in itself - an oasis of peace and light - you will find it hidden away above the shops of the old-fashioned arcade in the heart of Stirling town centre.

There is a little lounge area in the studio where students may consume a quick snack, if they have brought one, after the class or there cafes close to the studio.  The entrance to the Stirling Arcade may be found just opposite Argos in the main shopping area.  The Yoga tree entrance is on a corner, about half way through the arcade, near to the restaurant tables.
