Welcome to a lilttle bit about me..........

During my late 20's/early 30's I started to experience lower back problems and periods of stress. Believing there must be a more complementary approach to medication and medical intervention, I attended my first Yoga class in 2003 and basically 'woke up'!

While living in Houston, Texas, USA, I started practising yoga in 2003 and was certified in 2007 by the Yoga Therapy College of Houston. Consistently, I continued to study Yoga Therapy with Maria Theresia (MT) and Roberto Mazzarella until May 2009.  Attending Iyengar classes at Omni Yoga Centre of Kingwood, I practised and studied the use of props under the guidance of Laura Webster.

In June 2009, I qualified as a Reflexologist with the Patricia McPherson, founder of Derwen Therapies Reflexology Academy in Houston.  After this point in 2009, I returned home to my roots in Aberdeen, Bonnie Scotland.   In February 2012 while visiting friends in Houston, I attended my first Nia class in Atascosita, Texas - it felt soo good to move my body in a different way!   On my return home I found Cathy Ferris taught Nia in Aberdeen and I attended the White Belt Training in July 2013 at Burntisland where I met Stine and Marc Masseboeuf and we taught classes in Aberdeen.

My classes are challenging yet therapeutic and suitable for people of all ages, levels of experience and abilities.   Helping find 'your own body's way', comfortable alignment and well-being are three essential goals of my practice and teaching.  I continue to practise and study various aspects of self help wellness and how nia and yoga can heal the body, mind and spirit.  This enables me to bring a wealth of knowledge to encourage students on their own journey of self discovery.

Please contact me for Nia and Yoga classes in your area!

A warm welcome awaits :-)

I don't have any trainings scheduled at this time. Please check back later.
