“Stepping into a Nia class is like coming home, it is warm, safe, free from judgement and filled with love. No matter where I am, who the teacher is, or how many bodies are in the room, I know that once I step into that Nia class I am surrounded by a strong, supportive and loving community”
Lisa Silverstone discovered Nia when a class started in her local area, and has been hooked ever since. Lisa has a background in health science, and primary education. She completed her Nia White Belt Training in Melbourne in 2009 and Green Belt Training in April 2011.
“Nia has allowed me to grow in all realms. Physically my body has changed and it is learning to move in the way it was designed to move. Mentally my knowledge of the human body, movement, and myself has expanded, while opening me to new perspectives of how I think and view the world. Emotionally I have grown stronger and developed a deeper connection with feeling. And Spiritually I am creating a relationship with self and living in the Now.”
