I’m a certified brown belt Nia teacher in Lynnwood, WA and hold a PhD in Public Health from the University of Washington.
From my very first moments of Nia, I was gripped by feelings of exhilaration, freedom, and joy. I was overwhelmed by how connected I felt to the movement. After much support and encouragement, I completed the White Belt training in March, 2012 with Jill Pagano, the Blue Belt training in 2013 with Britta von Tagen and the Brown Belt training in 2016 with Debbie Rosas.
During my doctorate training in Public Health, I learned that the evidence is overwhelming–moving your body is healthy! Nia is a glorious gateway to finding joy and healing by moving your body’s way.
I offer group classes and private sessions for small groups.
