Dance and movement have always been an integral and essential part of my life. I taught folk dancing for many years to children, adults, and seniors, and have practiced Tai Chi and other forms of dance. When I discovered Nia in January 2011 I realized it combined all of the things I love in one neat package. I took my White Belt with Casey Bernstein in June 2011 and returned to her Center in Albany for Blue Belt in April 2013, followed by Brown in August 2015 at Studio Nia. I currently teach Classic Nia and plan to eventually teach adapted Nia for special populations and for seniors. Come dance Nia with us in Montreal!
