Anja began her yoga and meditation journey in 2000 while searching for alternative ways to deal with chronic pain.
Her life journey brought her shortly after to Canada where she discovered the Nia Technique at a wonderful yoga studio in Barrie, Ontario.
Seduced by the joy of movement that the Nia Technique & Yoga had to offer, she completed the Nia White Belt and Green Belt intensive teacher training under Canadian Blackbelt Teachers Martha Randall and Roberta Mohler. Anja was trained in Flow Yoga, as developed by Kaila Kukla and Hatha Yoga. She finished her RYT-250 hrs through Loving Spirit School of Yoga in December 2015.
Anja beliefs in regular joy- and playful practice, continuous learning and skill upgrading to deliver the Nia promise to her community. She has participated in master classes, intensive Nia work- and playshops with Nia co-founder Debbie Rosas and Carlos Aya Rosas, Black Belts Zeta Gaudet, Martha Randall, and NGT's Winalee Zeeb, Helen Terry, Kevin Verecke as well as Brown Belts Janet Ragan and Lainie Magidsohn.
